It’s one of those things you wonder, sitting on your couch, watching an MLB game.
Take, maybe, a World Series game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays.
You could spend a whole game counting, and you’d be counting pretty high.
Any pitch in the dirt, gone. Any ball in play, gone. Foul balls into the seats, or home runs, of course, gone.
You pretty much have to get a pitch into the catcher’s glove for it to get tossed back to the pitcher.
So, about that number.
