Control Your Interview
Claim Control Over Your Media Interview – Part 1
By Howard Fencl, Hennes Communications
Uh-oh. You’re plummeting down a rabbit hole. You agreed to give a reporter an interview. You know your topic inside and out. How tough can it be answering a few questions? But the reporter is coming at you fast and you're starting to feel…uncomfortable. You stammer over an answer.

Handling Demanding Stakeholders: Create Societal Value
“Stakeholder Capitalism and ESG: A Guide for Communication Leaders” stresses transparency.  Just in time for the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade and a slew of other socio-political issues vexing C-suites, one of the guide’s goals is providing chief communication officers background for tackling whether or not a company should take a stand on societal issues.

Recently, a lecturer at the University of Falmouth noted that a lot of stock science imagery fell in the latter category. In fact, it seems like many stock photographers have a hard time conceptualizing what scientists actually do.

Adidas Blew the Kanye Controversy, but Your Brand Can Avoid the Same Mistakes
“I can say antisemitic things and Adidas can’t drop me. Now what? Now what?”  That was Kanye West on the Drink Champs podcast on October 16 daring Adidas to react to his recent behavior.  Ever since West—now known as Ye—signed on with Adidas in 2013, the artist has been the cultural story at the brand. That fact took a dark turn over the past month, as West has been criticized for antisemitic comments, leading the brand to cancel its landmark deal with him.
